Nuvon is a wallcovering brand specializing in the curation, supply, and professional installation of wallpaper and wallcoverings, delivering refined surface solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality environments.

“Client”, “you”, or “your” refers to any individual or legal entity that:

• Accesses our website
• Submits an enquiry or quotation request
• Purchases wallpaper or wallcoverings
• Engages Nuvon for installation or related services

These Terms apply to:

• All enquiries, quotations, invoices, and transactions
• All wallpaper supply and installation services provided by Nuvon

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, approving a quotation, purchasing wallpaper, or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must refrain from using our website or services.

4. Wallpaper Products, Enquiries, and Services

Nuvon provides curated wallcovering solutions including but not limited to:

• Designer wallpaper and wallcoverings
• Imported wallpaper collections
• Bespoke or custom-ordered wallcoverings
• Wallpaper sourcing and consultation
• Professional wallpaper installation services

Important Clarifications:

Products displayed on our website, catalogues, or marketing materials may be representational or enquiry-based and do not constitute an automatic offer for sale.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a binding agreement.

A binding agreement exists only once:

• A written quotation or invoice is issued, and
• The client formally accepts the quotation.

All goods and services are supplied in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).

5. Imported, Bespoke, and Custom Wallpaper

Many wallpaper products supplied by Nuvon are:

Imported
Special order
Bespoke or custom manufactured

Once an order for imported or bespoke wallpaper has been confirmed:

• The order cannot be cancelled
• The product cannot be returned
• The product cannot be refunded

except where required under the Consumer Protection Act.

Clients are responsible for ensuring:

• The correct design is selected
• The correct quantity is ordered
• Measurements provided are accurate.

6. Pricing and Availability

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise.

Prices:

• May change prior to quotation acceptance
• Are subject to supplier pricing and currency fluctuations
• May exclude installation unless stated otherwise

Availability of wallpaper collections may vary depending on supplier stock and international supply chains.

The pricing stated in an official quotation or invoice overrides any website pricing.

7. Installation, Wall Preparation, and Site Conditions

7.1 Scope of Work

Installation services are quoted based on:

• Information supplied by the client
• Visible wall conditions at the time of inspection (if applicable)
• The scope outlined in the quotation.

Wallpaper installation requires suitable wall preparation and surface conditions.

7.2 Wall Conditions and Preparation

Nuvon shall not be liable for issues arising from unsuitable surfaces including but not limited to:

• Damp or moisture
• Uneven plaster or textured walls
• Poorly prepared surfaces
• Flaking paint or unstable substrates
• Structural movement or cracks

Where additional preparation is required, it may:

• Fall outside the quoted scope
• Be quoted separately
• Affect installation timelines.

8. Estimates, Quotations, and Contractual Supremacy

Quotations, invoices, and project documents may contain specific terms or installation conditions.

Where a conflict exists:

The terms within the quotation or invoice shall prevail.

These general Terms apply only where they are not expressly overridden in writing.

9. Timelines and Delivery

Unless expressly guaranteed in writing:

• All timelines are estimates only.

Lead times may vary due to:

• International supplier production
• Shipping delays
• Customs clearance
• Courier logistics

Nuvon shall not be liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.

10. Website Use

Users agree to use the website lawfully and must not:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Interfere with website functionality or security.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, designs, branding, images, and text remain the intellectual property of Nuvon (Pty) Ltd or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Nuvon is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

13. Personal Information (POPIA)

RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

18. Returns – Stock Wallpaper

Stock wallpaper may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

• A 25% handling and restocking fee will apply
• Wallpaper must be unused
• Wallpaper must be in its original packaging
• Rolls must be undamaged and resalable
• Proof of purchase must be provided.

Nuvon reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

19. Non-Returnable Wallpaper

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

• Imported wallpaper
• Bespoke wallpaper
• Custom ordered collections
• Special supplier orders

These products are sourced specifically for each client and therefore all sales are final.

20. Defective Products

If wallpaper is defective or damaged upon delivery:

• The issue must be reported before installation
• Photographic evidence may be required

Defective goods will be handled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, which may include repair, replacement, or refund.

Wallpaper that has already been cut or installed cannot be returned.

Standard processing: 1–3 working days

Imported or special order wallpaper:

10–21 working days depending on supplier lead times.

22. Delivery Timeframes

Main centres: 2–5 working days
Regional areas: up to 7 working days
